Case Study

We were contracted to supply, install and commission new fire alarm systems to three leisure centres for Engie on behalf of Cheshire East Council.

The project involved our Fire & Security division working closely with consultants to design, then install and commission the systems to BS 5839 type L1 within the three leisure complexes built in the 60s. Each of the systems were then networked to the larger site where all of the fire alarm systems for the leisure centres and attached academies and schools are incorporated.

As the leisure centres were situated within schools this required careful planning and scheduling to ensure there were no disruptions to the syllabus.

Careful planning and scheduling ensured there were no disruptions to the syllabus while we upgraded and networked 3 school leisure centres.
