Winning new work

City Building Engineering Services Ltd and CJ Lang and Son Ltd are delighted to announce a new partnership to deliver maintenance services to over 100 SPAR stores throughout Scotland. CBES will provide an asset building maintenance service which includes building fabric and electrical works to CJ Lang’s directly owned SPAR convenience stores.

Established in Dundee in 1919, CJ Lang is a family-owned business, and a wholesaler for SPAR stores in Scotland, suppling over 300 SPAR convenience stores across the country and employing over 1700 staff. CJ Lang is the country’s largest independent retailing group and is now embarking on their biggest ever store investment programme.

CBES are a forward looking engineering and construction company focussed on delivering safe and innovative constructive solutions to our customers, across a variety of sectors throughout the UK. A key business of the highly successful City Facilities Management Group delivering global major FM solutions to blue chip customers, CBES employ over 700 people throughout the UK and this comprehensive in-house resource includes design managers, project managers, engineers, trainees, support staff and over 350 directly employed engineers.
