We believe in a health and safety culture that underpins our entire business activity, with the objective of engendering a continuous improvement environment that seeks to attain industry leadership in health and safety delivery and significantly contributes to business performance.
Fraser Allan heads our Health and Safety Function and is supported by four regional advisers who provide expertise and support to our site management teams.
Achieving our goal
Our people are what make us what we are and we are committed to their safety and of those affected by our activities. Pre project planning, implemented within a dedicated Site Safety Plan, provides a framework for the management of H&S throughout the duration of all projects.
Competence
- We are a learning organisation investing in the development of our people and benchmarking with the industry to attain best practice
- All management and operatives hold the CITB SMSTS accreditation and Skills Cards pertinent to their role
Supply Chain
- We undertake rigorous evaluation of our supply chain, requiring demonstration of competence and ability to manage H&S for all works
Confidence
- Our objective is to continuously improve our H&S delivery and to provide stakeholders with confidence and transparency in our management of H&S.We are committed too, and are currently in the process of, achieving OHSAS 18001 accreditation.
